(gpp deh keluar jalur dikit.. padahal gga berani liat yg horor horor trus gga mau ada yg horor isi blog nya..)

Drama ini bercerita mengenai Legenda Gumiho.
Gumiho, rubah berekor sembilan yang mempertahankan perkawinannya selama 10 tahun agar menjadi manusia penuh. Namun pada malam sebelum 10 tahun perkawinannya, sang suami melanggar janji, dan ia pun gagal. Gumiho meninggalkan suami nya dan membawa anaknya, Yeon Yi. Yeon Yi mewarisi kemampuan ibunya. Gumiho merasa kecewa dengan masyarakat manusia sehingga ia membuat rumah baru di gua. Tetapi Yeon Yi mengalami kesulitan untuk menyesuaikan diri hidup di lingkungan baru. Gumiho memutuskan untuk tinggal di sebuah desa sampai Yeon Yi tumbuh dewasa, sejak Yeon Yi mendapat bentuk lengkap rubah ketika ia berumur 10 tahun.
Meskipun Gumiho tidak berhasil menjadi manusia penuh, yang dia inginkan hanyalah hidup bahagia bersama putri cantiknya. Namun mimpinya terpotong karna Yeon Yi dibunuh dengan kejam oleh penduduk. Sekarang Gumiho, sang ibu, mulai membalas dendam.
